Teresa Felix started “The Little Ladder ABC – Evangelical School” to encourage students to ascend and grow in their studies. She is committed to teaching Christ-centered values and building character in her students. Teresa’s vision is to continue to impact the community of La Romana, Dominican Republic with Christ-centered education.

Nestled in a Haitian community on the outskirts of La Romana is Colegio Bethesda, the primary school that is run by Pastor Denis and his daughter, Claire. Pastor Denis persevered through many obstacles to pursue his dream, but he is more than content with the outcome of his struggles. “When the children are off the streets and attending a good school that teaches them about the love of Jesus,” he said, “we find that the whole community, the parents and the students benefit. Everyone benefits when we practice the love of Jesus in our community.”
Miriam Ofosu Appeah is a committed proprietress who is passionate about sharing Christ with students in Ghana. Miriam is a member of Edify’s advisory board.
Alexis, a proprietor in Kicukiro, Rwanda, has a heart to provide street kids with an affordable, quality, Christ-cenetered education.
