ANNUAL MICROFINANCE CONFERENCE 2015: HEALTHY GROWTH FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Phnom Penh, 14 December 2015 – Cambodia Microfinance Association will organize the Annual Microfinance Conference 2015 under the main theme “Healthy Growth for Sustainable Development” on 23 December 2015 in Preah Sihanouk Province. The event will be one of the largest Microfinance sector gatherings of the year which brings together 200 eminence leaders and representatives from MFIs, Financial Institutions, Regulators and Government, and from investors and other key stakeholders.
The Annual Microfinance Conference will be held with three main objectives:
  • To provide forum for discussion on the critical elements affecting the growth and development of Cambodia’s microfinance sector and the economy
  • To encourage strong professionalism in microfinance sector and revitalize Institutions’ social goals
  • To debate and instill highly responsible and healthy growth strategy across the Microfinance sector
H.E Ouk Maly, Deputy Governor of National Bank of Cambodia, and H.E Mey Vann, Director General of General Department of Financial Industry of Ministry of Economy and Finance, will be joint by Dr. Oknha Bun Mony, Chairman of CMA, and other distinguish panelist and speakers to discuss the trending issues and main development of Cambodia’s Microfinance sector.
